Glad you're taking care of yourself, Zab, though I know how the impulse goes to dedicate yourself to those you love.
The metal work does look awesome. I particularly like the bluish tones you've worked into the various panels of the sculpt.

Glad to hear you are taking some time to recharge. Pretty important especially when dealing with family health issues. And as the mob has mentioned....the metals are looking good.

Thanks gang! Don't worry Digga, no need for enforced rest. I'm learning that even i can burn out and need rest. To be fair my mind broke before my body and i could have keep going but the lady inquisitor said I'm no good to her all bat crap crazy. I always do what the lady inquisitor says...

Will be up in gallery soon. Now onto the year of personal projects! Painting for fun, not growth or charity or anyone else but me. That feels weird. A good weird though.

Cheers,
Zab

Thanks :) I experimented with the fur textures, which came out great in places, but sloppy in others. I'll refine the approach on the next hair beast I paint :p

Doesn't look too sloppy at all! Love the metal work, particularly around the shoulder armour on the black wolf.

Thanks fox, I'll have a walkthrough on the metals on my blog eventually. I am usually about 4-10 weeks behind on my blog versus this WIP thread :)

Nice work there! I also like those metals. Forged gates gave them a nice Gothic touch. (as in a vampire/werewolf B-movie)
