A HUUUGE task. Not easy by any means. Strikingly attractive in every way. A very solid painting standard will make this game enjoyable and as its meant to be enjoyed. With wonderful painted models. Can't beat that with a howitzer gun...;) good luck and Godspeed in your recovery.

Loka is done. I'll have pics on my blog, P&P and Deviant Art. Since CMON restricted it's pic dimensions I'll only be posting single pictures here once in a while. Not really worth the effort to build montages for this gallery anymore.

It's surprisingly complex. My daughter and i still like chess better, but you can play a hybrid of loka and chess too which is kind of neat. Onto the next project!

Gorgeous final shot. That red velvety cloth must have been a nightmare to take pictures of....
Love how the game finally turned out, with all the pieces painted... and that makes me think I have some work pending... ehem.. I... must... go now...

Thanks gents! Saint, A little while ago it seems they restricted the pixel dimensions and so I can't really put together the big collages i used to. It also means i have to crop and frame the pics differently for display here vs other sites. So my DeviantArt and P&P accounts will get Hi res collages and pics and CMON will get a compressed shot or two that fit in their restrictions. No biggie ;) Anyway, a fun project for ebay... Mechanicus hobby tray!

and then my next experiment with minis and some gouache...

Just noticed that CMON recently changed their pic size and dimensions again to be even bigger than before. Now I fee like a dolt for bitching o_O

More projects!

So gouache on minis? Not really great. It blends really well and you can kind of lift it like with water colors which can be really neat if you prime them white and rub the color off with a damp brush in places... However, it's too fragile and when you seal it - it literally dissolves. It was a fun experiment though. Pictures...

Ah, I remember school dioramas. I used to love doing those. Too bad I didn't learn about this hobby until about 20 years after I did my last school diorama.

Also, that zebra is fucked.
