Done. It’s funny cause this one was the opposite of the white scar test mini where I liked everything. So with this one at least I know what techniques I want to do how much to tone them down and what not to do - lolz!!!

thanks for the tip about the micro ball the bubbles/ ooze look good. might just be the mini. early on I picked up a a5 artist book where I keep all my trials before I put them on a mini. I have had a few hopefuls that never made it to the mini.

I hear ya I could do a thumbnail but I actually like the palette but the mini is too cluttered and doesn’t read so I think that the new models have more open spaces so that will help and I think I can simplify the some of the color processes because they didn’t really show up under all the weathering

The ooze over the beads looks really cool, great to see how the really light colours (white etc) really shows through... and that little pool of nurgle rot at the front is really effective... well I’ll be keeping a couple of these little effects in my memory bank for future reference !!! Well done

I hear ya! they do look less busy better surfaces to paint. must be any day now for the package to arrive so looking forward to it. hope it's this week.

yeah its a fog of war boardgame they did a limited release on a while ago. This set will be painted up for the NOVA open charities this year. And the shadespire skellys are just for me for fun. Likely will sell em or do a giveaway on instagrams or my blog.

anoung the stars bust and tmnt minis with the new shadespire skellys. Saw coco this week with the Agent of Chaos and kinda want to paint them like Mexican day of the dead skellys but the weapons and such are all wrong.

Well really i'm just priming future projects in one batch. first its the skellys real quick then it's the lost patrol for the NOVA open charities then first strike for me. Any boardgame projects will be for a fun break inbetween and the busts are just soft detailed cheap assed sculpts for sketching practice so i don't waste effort on those expensive busts i have from BT or tiny leads
