I think that start date was changed until next monday...

Nope.

They were waiting on KS approval, and said that it might take until Monday, but then, after that, approval came through, and they said they would launch 11am EST (4pm GMT) Saturday, as skeeter says.

I'll assume you guys have seen the Kickstarter campaign is up and running, so, what level have you guys pledged? I'm thinking on the $150 (Fugitive) level, as that gets you all three sets (TCM, S2:pO, and Dogz). With the shipping that almost twice as much as I paid last time... then again, this time I plan to convince a buddy of mine to split the cost.

Also, who do you guys think Thaissa is supposed to be? I mean Brad is "Dirty Harry", but I'm not sure who the current Stretch Goal milestone character is...

I went with Fugitive as well. As for who Thaissa is, I've heard some talk that she's Jane Fonda's character from Point of No Return, but I have no clue who she is and I haven't seen the movie.

she does look that character, played by bridget fonda. that film was also released as la femme nikita originally. as for the current stretch goal character he kinda resembles steven seagall, as a result he won't be as effective as the chuck norris charcter. put in for the fugitive level will be good value

One thing I'd like to see less of is the constant whining in the comments for the kickstarter. So much entitlement.

Aunt whit Flamethrower? That the sort of crazyness I can get behind in a zomby game^^ By the way, the next special character is base off Pamela anderson apparently:

No, it's Jessica Fletcher/Angela Lansbury

I'll take your guess over mine. :)

Edit: Rather than double-post, I was curious, I noticed the "classic" zombies for Prison Outbreak, i.e. 6 per model type, didn't match the numbers I would expect from the old trays (i.e. 4 zombies per column). Anyone wonder why?

After the dogs they'll probably go back to adding Fatties (Toxic/Berserker) as stretch goals before adding a new optional survivor. That's my guess.

I just spent almost 12 hours playing Zombicide last weekend at a convention. I was so stoked to see the new Kickstarter, I cant wait to play in the prison.

Agreed. And let's not forget new prison guard towers... +1 range and impossible for zombies to get into (but they can surround/trap you up there). Finally a place for snipers to overwatch an area. :)

While it's a long way aways, what do you guys think will be the theme of the next expansion or season? When I saw Prison Outbreak I couldn't help but compare it with The Walking Dead, however I just don't see them following the TV series or comic that closely. Some people think the next theme will be a college/university campus or military base, which ironically were expansion themes for another zombie tile-based game, Zombies!!! I think a park area would also be good for an expansion, especially if you could incorporate it into with the city or mall and add more variety to city maps.

I would think an amusement park like in Zombieworld would a good expansion/base set.

Agreed, in fact the tiles could be split between an amusement park and a normal park (i.e. stone paths, grass, garbage cans, ect, would work with both). And talking about Zombieworld, I still think Tallahassee should be among the optional promo survivors.
