Zombicide Black plague "my first time painting and making anything custom for a game"

This is my first time painting and making anything custom for a game, but i had to when I go ZBP.

Wow, love the minis! Bet it's great playing through with your own characters, can I ask how you made the cards? Been thinking of my own converts but don't know where to start making the cards for them, any nod in the right direction would be appreciated

Edit; just seeing your sig again reminded me I wanted to play an army of Darkness style game with the As... err I mean Troy character from the original Zombicide games, give him his broomstick and chainsaw but start him on yellow/orange xp so it's hell straight from the start :skeleton:

Step #1. I downloaded gimp or if you have Photoshop use it. And I downloaded two awesome templates off of Geekdo.com. I link them below.

Step #2. Then I looked for some minis I liked and tried to find artwork that match them. Lots and lots of Google searches since I really didn’t want to draw anything myself, but you can if you like. I found ones I like at Reapermini.com. But I there are some really cool ones at a couple other sites Ill link them below. Also I bought some bases to match then minis I picked out. I used zap gap to glue them to the bases. To paint them I used Army painter primer matt black primer on some of them and Skelton bone primer on the others and all of Army painter Zombicide paints sets,

Step #3. Once I was happy with the artwork I started cropping and editing the art. Also I would recommend doing some test prints on your printer of the cards to check that they are printing out the correct size.

Step #4. After I was happy with how they looked I printed out on Double side matted photo paper and used a Paper crafting trimmer to cut them out. After you get them all cut out you can get them laminated if you like. I didn’t because I was just lazy lol.

Step #5. I bought an Ultra Pro 9 Pocket Pro Binder Black 360 Card Deck Protector to hold all my custom survivor cards and ones that came with the game/ expansion and guest artist boxes.
