ZOMBICIDE Kickstarter MASSIVE dissapointment......

It really disheartens me to have to write a post of complaint concerning CMON when I like the site and the success it has had and the excellent community here.

I supported the Season 2 Zombicide Kickstarter, was really impressed with the game and all its goodies but have had a couple of problems with the order. First off I moved house. Got an email reminder to confirm address details were correct before final shipment of the last couple of extra goodies. Did this immediately, got told the email only applied to people in the US and it was too late for EU customers to update. After a few complaints and an apology I expected a problem recieving the package. Now here is an example of good customer service before I launch into the negative....It arrived at my new address despite being told they could do nothing - EXCELLENT service! Thank you who ever did that.

Now however the BAD. I ordered two extras - Moustache Pack (Kickstarter exclusive) and a Kevin Walker Artist Pack. $35 worth of stuff. These did NOT arrive. I contacted CMON customer service, received a prompt reply saying, YES my account showed a negative $35 and if I send my Paypal they can refund it straight away. Fast resoltuion but NOT the answer I wanted. I want the things I pledged for. So after MUCH back and forth emailing and despite showing a screenshot from my Kickstarter account clearly showing I ordered the moustache pack I am receiving no joy on the matter. Still waiting for a final response for about a week now.

So this rant is designed as a warning for those pledging for Season 3 ZOMBICIDE - things can go wrong and you may not receive your stuff. Even if you can prove it.

Not impressed with this disaster and it will be putting me off ordering any CMON games in the forseeable future. I am VERY disappointed I have had to write this rant. I would like to see CMON step up its customer service. EVEN Games Workshop offer replacement products without any kind of quibble if you have had a poor quality product.

Sadly I don't think you will get it resolved, CMON have your momey now, what do they care. Just look at how there handling the shipping fiasco of the Relic Knight KS, shipping to the EU and the rest of the world, diabolical is the word for it I'll say! I'm in for season 3 but if they haven't got RK sorted by then then I'll pull my pledge (which is a shame as I think GG are great) I hope you do get this issue resolved though.

I was going to snap up Season 3, but not now. Arguing over $35 of product has just lost them $150 of business from me. Shame, the game is good. But never have I received such shabby treatment.

I had to chase CMON for stuff for sedition wars. It was a few months after It should have arrived, took a few weeks of getting in contact etc and emails back and forth but they sorted it out. Suck to hear it is not going so well.

I recall a backer had a very similar issue with the Kaosball kicksarter. If you trawl through the comments section to June 7th and follow the conversation it looks as if with a bit of perseverance this could be sorted out.

Pardon, but to me this seems to be a weird thread. Almost everything you say seems positive except that you didn't get the extras you ordered when you up'd your pledge. It sounds like they were out of stock and offered you a refund which you weren't happy about. Isn't this a bit of an overreaction or am I missing something?

James9487 it was that they weren't out of stock, they didn't include it and as it was a Kickstarter exclusive, it wont be made available at any other time, I can see why Dogfaceboy is upset with them. At the end of the day they knew how many wanted of which items so by just saying we'll refund it to you is not on. (btw it was a very nice pack too Dogfacedboy, very gutted for you)

I dont feel its an over reaction at all. I am being refused a product when I am able to provide proof I ordered it. They are not out of stock, they have said no such thing to me. The product is not available at retail, its a Kickstarter exclusive so it becomes a problem.

I am a fair person, CMON have showed good customer service initially - I have no reason not to mention the whole story. I am not here to slander and rant at CMON at all. Just to point out what has happened with their Kickstarter for Season 2 in my case and can they be trusted to deliver on future Kickstarters? I think not given my shabby treatement...sorry you pledged for all this stuff, we screwed up and now you cant have it. Rubbish in my opinion.

Final resolution to this problem is a refund only. SO be warned ZOMBICIDE SEASON 3 supporters.

Thanks Crystella. It is generally too expensive to buy on Ebay. Maybe I will sculpt my own one day lol. I am very disappointed in CMON.

It is generally too expensive to buy on Ebay.

Having seen the prices on there, yeah they hit the wallet. So glad I backed out of the Relic Knights after seeing the runaround the backer's have been having. All the kickstarter's I back now, I take the delivery with a pinch of salt. Waiting on The Toughest Girls of the Galaxy atm and the company are doing the deliveries now (abit late), but the updates have been good on the kickstarter page and on facebook too. That does help.

Yeah, I would get your money back while you can, if you can, it will mean you dont have to deal with any crap when it all goes wrong. Buy it in the shop to save hassle.

I have no issues with wait times, our games group has more than enough games to keep us occupied. I do have an issue with being told i cant have something I pledged for though. Whilst you can shout at Games Workshop for their business practices, their customer service and staff I have always thought to be outstanding. GW failed to send out a big order to me and I got A LOT of free box sets of Dogs of War to apologise for it. Brilliant. All I got with CMON was "have to operate with company guidelines..." which is fair enough, it then should be automatically escalated to supervisors to see what can be done and some effort actually made to provide actual customer service. The screen grab I sent should be proof enough. I would let Chern even have my password for my kickstarter to sort it out. But no interest was shown and they pissed me off so much I wont be backing any more Kickstarters by them.

Its not on. Kickstarter is a cool platform. I have never backed a cmon KS, i backed mantic Kings of war and one of the regiments od dwarf badger riders was missing an arm. They sent me an extra ten models AND the arm i needed. Brilliant service

That is customer service. CMON needs to learn to from these guys. Saying"sorry, nothing we can do" is not customer service.
