I've just received my 1st shipment from the Kickstarter and have poured over the rules and played some missions. I have a YouTube channel for wargaming and will be releasing a Video on Sunday showing gameplay of the first few missions. I also plan on doing painting tutorials on the miniatures and future gameplay vids and tactics. So if you love the game... check out my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/KillaMinis?feature=mhee

See you there

As I commented on the 1st video:

I believe you made one mistake which you didn't correct at all - you used El Cholo to open both the doors - but El Cholo's Machettes don't have the door-opening symbol on them, so they can't be used to open doors!

Nice videos. I certainly look forward to living vicariously when you post the first map video. Stupid Canadian customs.

For note, you did make a minor mistake (which you mentioned you thought might have happened, but didn't look up due to time concerns) of having the zombie choose a direction when both were good. The zombie would indeed have split, as you mentioned, but it wouldn't have made a lick of difference in the game. Well, a little difference, but not enough to matter.

@ Scorpion....Thanks for the heads up. Having incorrect information in an informational video was my intent. Looking back at the vid I do see now the major error in the way I was opening doors. The good news is that's a rule that will always stick with me now.

Thanks to all who have watched the first Vid. The next video will be posted in the next day or so. Also, I've started a thread in the Zombicide forum for those interested in playing Zombicide Via the Internet.

Great vids! I was eagerly watching them to confirm my interpretation of the rules. There were at least two points when I found myself asking the same questions you pondered after certain moves. There is one rule that stuck out to me that I wanted to ask others:

"The first player activates his Survivors one after the other, in the order of his choice." Pg. 7

Technically you are playing a one-player game, since you're the only player. If I'm reading this correctly, since you control four survivors as one player, you could essentially choose the order of your survivors EACH round. I do like your method of treating each survivor as its own player, though. I guess I just want to see what others think about this wording.

Yeah, Xorn, I guess I just skimmed that bit in the rules. I assumed the game would play the same regardless of the number of players, because otherwise it would feel too much like you were being (rather heavily, IMO) penalized for playing with more people. I suppose that rule is in there to make it easier if you have two or three people with two or three survivors each, but I'm not sure I like it. More reason to experiment, I suppose!
