I saw a thread somewhere that talked about painting bases for the Zombies. Here is my two cents.
For the base game I painted all the base edges black. The top of each base gets a layer of sand. FOr the walkers, fatties and abominations (which can be told apart easily), the sand is washed with black ink; then brybrushed. The runners (which can be harder to spot in a crowd) get the same black edge but the sand is left its natural color with some light drybrushing.
The same sand technique will be used for the expansions but the toxic zombies will have green edges and the berserkers will have red edges.
I have not been satisfied with my painting results so I have been seeking advice and experimenting. I am happy to report that last night I had a break through. Three wakers turned out almost perfect. As soon as I have time to set up the camera I will post some pictures.
So my question is can you use nail polish remover to get acrylic paints off of soft plastic? Also is there anyone who sells bits and pieces of junk for using on my hero bases?
