Varnon the Eternal - front and rear views

this is one of my entries at the italian Golden Demon 2005. As you can see it's a conversion from the Young Sigmar (Valten) miniature. I sculpted the armour and the dress, added a cloak of leaves and fur a deer skull, a wood elf sword and two lances from wood elves and high elves sprues. I also added the left arm to the beastman corpse The final touch was adding a dryad below the rock and two sprites, one eating the beastman's left arm. it's on sale on RollJordan website! http://www.rolljordan.com/RJ/Painters/Wolfbane/WHFB/woodelf/woodelf.htm see also #109389 and # 109388 Comments will be appreciated :)

Well, first of all you made a very good sculpting work on the armour and dress. What strikes of this mini is the colour choice, perfect for a wood elf.Very good skintone and amazing freehands and leaves on the cloak too. What I don't like are the 2 sprites(their colour, too different from the other tones) and the shape you modelled the cloak,it seems a bit unnatural.Metals are not at their best too,but these are just minor negative points.Overall a magnificent elf lord!
