Femme Militants: Cataphractii

As a kind gesture from John Blanche I was given this miniature.

It is a 40 mm sculpt by Dave Thomas designed from John's artwork - check out www.lvxmvndi.com.

I converted the model a bit (mainly by adding a new head) and painted it using Citadel paints, Vallejo Model Colors, and Tamiya Clear ink.

Brilliant. I love the swapped head, it really gives the mini some of that "above warhammer-kind-of imagination", which is something that i really appreciate. The actual miniature is also something that i would like to paint someday... the free metallic surfaces make me want to paint metals.... Very, very nice indeed.

Just love your sense of style when it comes to the more "weird" mini's you paint...havent seen the original but you made a Jhon Blance mini even weirder :]...nice
