Hand sculpted Tarrasque miniature for D&D

This creature, the centerpiece of my collection, was put together by my Fianceé, a budding sculptor. It began life as a coat hanger bent creatively and after nearly six months of work it came to be the beast of Dungeons & Dragons legend. Most of the body was made using super sculpey, at a later stage much of this was replaced with green and brown epoxy putty for strength as it is intended as a game piece. The model is 7 inches tall and 14 inches in length placing it definitively in the Colossal size category (it barely fits on its 6" square base) For scale reference the model in the picture is 28 mm. If you're interested in seeing more pics of our little monster the "making of" page is at: http://www.geocities.com/maugan22/BigT/BigTpics.html

I feel very sorry for Mr. 'I'm just standing here to indicate the scale' mini, that's one fierce looking huge beastie!
