Ok Here goes. A little shading perhaps with some chestnut ink or GW's Flesh wash (well watered down & add a little washing up liquid to the mix) just below the mouth down the creases of the beard and on the gold/brass on the axes. Highlight with yellow drybrushing on the beard and your well on the way. Try using a little Bleached bone (or it's equivelant) as a mix-in lightener for browns works nicely. Your work has a lot of promise keep trying and good luck.

Quality is great. Check out www.paintingclinic.com for some excellent instructions on washing and drybrushing.

Not bad at all for first try! Pick up detailing more on the skin tones and adding depth by shading the clothes. Even dry brushing his beard a lighter orange or yellow would have made the deatiled hair sculpts really jump out! Keep up the good work
