Dark Sword Miniatures produces a few limited edition figures each year. Jim asked me to paint this one, which is based on a piece of Clyde Caldwell artworked aptly titled 'Treasure Chest'. My husband insisted that I paint the parrot in suitably parroty colours, even though the rest of the colour scheme was a little more muted. He may also have advised me on a couple of other attributes. ;-> The scabbard is a little bit bent in the photos, I fixed it on the mini but didn't get a chance to take new pictures before handing her over to Jim. Jubilee has painted a different take on this miniature that I quite like.
Rating: 10 Hey guys the rating (7,6) is a joke, isn't it?? Fantastic paintjob!!! Great colour scheme and pretty smooth and clean paintjob. The nmm of the sword turned out fantastic and also the skin and the face look amazing. Perfect paintjob at each detail (gems, decoration and so on) so I really don't understand the ratings these days.
