You've achieved your goal with extreme finesse. I always have issues working in teh purple spectrum. You've managed to make the musculature look truly alive. It really seems as though this is a still picture of a beast that is actually in motion. Very vivid. Color-wise this nightmare looks like he'd be right at home in an old Image comic book, like Wetworks or something.
