Hi Thanks for that. This was done with 3 thinned coats of paint. The colour choices were my sons I just got the job of painting it. I dont like the lighter green myself. I will have a good read through and give some of the other techniques a go. Yup so far it has been a costly thing. :-)
3.5 - I hope you're ready for the cost. I'd say colour selection and lack of shading are your main problems at the mo'. I started to learn by painting minis as accurately as I could to what I had seen in WD. Simple things like watering down the paint so that you get coverage on 2-3 coats would help a lot, and try and be as neat as possible. I'd also suggest trawling the web on GW's site or on the beginner articles on here. Really it's all about practice and patience. Good luck.
