Sergeant Torias Telion ~ The Imperial Fists Version
I have been playing quite a lot with my Imperial Fists lately and I have decided to include Sergeant Torias Telion in my list. He is a really handy upgrade for any scout squad and he has served me well so far. Only problem was that the model (and the fluff of the model for that reason) is an Ultramarine. As with any other characters in the Space Marines codex, that are not Imperial Fists (thats everyone except Lysander actually :P) I have to covert something to play as a "count as" so in this case I had 2 options. One was to create a completely new model from scratch. The other was the one that I eventually followed, take the original Telion model and make it an Imperial Fist Sergeant! I followed this solution since I really like Telion's model, although it eventually was proven to have a really bad casting quality. After filing off the Ultramarines symbols, I used some photo etched fists to give him the needed flavor and painted him in the appropriate colors. Nothing really fancy in terms of converting but I didn't feel he needed it anyway! Placed him in a MicroArt Old Factory base and voila, ready to lend his expertise to the young and inexperienced scouts! I would love to hear your comments!
