You can try this method:
First, you have to paint a lightning by white fine line, next, use glazing method to make a blue efect of light (I proposing regal blue and next some kind of turquoise). After that, again paint a white fine line in this same place.
Another idea:
Make a irregular waves of energy (can by broken line or some like EKG line) you can use this same method I wrote higher to make this.
Nice work, I was just wondering though as to how you went about the glow effects on both the runes and the eyes. I myself have constructed a Rune Priest (Albeit in Terminator Armor) and was thinking of doing a similar thing, perhaps accented by 'empowered' crackles of energy on the weapon blades. Any suggestions?
