The Center of the Hive, Tigurius vs. Genestealer
This is the first diorama I've ever attempted and I was happy I saw it through. I imagined this scene taking place at the heart of an epic battle. A tyranid invasion that started in the lower sectors of a hive city and Tigurius discovering the source. I was happy to win silver in the diorama category with this piece at gamesday chicago 2011. Sorry for the re-post but the original pictures didn't seem cinematic enough. That impression was seconded by some comments, thanks ;) -Sam samsonminis.blogspot.com
