Thanks for the kind words. Which transitions in particular do you refer to? The image was made using a flash which destroys the blendings a bit. I'll do new pictures that are hopefully of better quality and I'll also include an image of the backside of this miniature.
(BTW, my goal is to have the whole goblin army painted like this so it no longer stands out. ;-)
Nice work, I like the way you are building up the highlights, I bet he really syands out on the tabletop. If you work on making the transitions a little more subtle then you'll be well on the way to some really nice minis.
