The painting is fantastic because it looks like he has actually spent a decent amount of time in the sun and sand. Just about everything is great. The only part that kinda lets it down is the grey cloak which, although there are a lot of sharp edges, might still benefit from a little more graduation in places. The chainmail looks really good and is not clogged up and the red cross is suitably faded as the sun fades reds quickly due to its poor opacity. Well done and keep on truckin'.
