Here's my second Wamped entry, and this time a bit more of a serene vibe. Yup, it's one those darned space pansies! This is a more technical piece compared to Krull obviously, and as those of you that have been following my WIP on the Wamp forum may remember, this is the first Finecast mini that I bought that was actually a decent cast! Being a major fan of the Eldar sculpts since I was a kid, painting this was an absolute dream, and is the first mini in a long time that I really wanted to paint, as opposed to just get painted. A very welcome change from churning out commissions, It felt like rediscovering something treasured you thought you'd lost. Having not painted an Eldar model since I was last into mini painting & gaming in the mid 90's, this was a strangely spiritual and nostalgic experience for me (despite it being a 'new' sculpt), and I can't wait to get the opportunity to do some more now. Anyway, I hope you like guys! :)
