Pre Heresy Death Guard Mk1 Land Raider Barbarus
Taking a break from my Imperial fists and all this yellow, I decided to finish some of my Death Guard vehicles, starting with my all time favorite, the old school Mk1 Land Raider. By the time Forgeworld released all this great preheresy material, I decided to build one of my all time favorite chapters, the Death Guard. As with all my projects, this started quite a while ago but I'm glad that I find the time eventually to finish off some models, the first one being Captain Garro I decided to go with a massive weathering adding to the fluff of the Death Guard having equipment that wasn't shiny or clean, but it worked perfectly. Moreover, I wanted to have the feeling of this being an ancient machine of death, seen countless battles. The model is heavily converted from the original Mk1 Land Raider kit, you can find some WIP pics in my blog I would really like to hear what you think on this one, as this is a test model as well for the rest of the vehicles.
