This is Grenadier's Shambling Mound from their early 80's box set "Denizens of the Swamp." I tried to paint it to match the painting on the front of the box which has the odd coloring under the eyes similar to this mini.

I've been reminiscing about the heady days of my youth lately and this was the first mini I ever painted, (from the Denizens in the Swamp box!). Thanks for such a beautiful trip down memory lane.

I love Grenadier miniatures and I wish more people would appreciate the orgin of the miniatures they collect today. these guys are the classic rock of the miniature world and you did a awesome job painting this one!
