Archduke Charles, Duke Of Teschen 75 Mm

Hello everybody, Here’s a new figure that I made for MichaelMiniatures . It was a big challenge for me to start with an equestrian project. The character is Archduke Charles , Duke of Teschen who defeated Napoleon in 1809 in Aspern, near Vienna. He was an austrian field-marshal, the third son of emperor Leopold II and his wife Infanta Maria Luisa of Spain. The mainly part of documentation that I used was the Statue of the Archduke from Heldenplatz in Viena whose author is the local sculptor Anton Dominik Fernkorn who created the statue between 1860 and 1865. You can see the work-in-progress at these links : http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/archduke-charles-duke-of-teschen-75-mm.51047/ http://spanish-team.com/foro/viewtopic.php?t=15888&sid=c852b6446a9dc3da1dd2fd70528fa969 Your comments are welcome .

The dynamic action described by the pose of the horse and rider are excellent. Very, very believable and life like. One of the best I have seen. Awesome!
