The model is "42nd Royal Highlander Regiment of Foot 'The Black Watch'" from Pegaso Models. The inspiration for the base was the Battle of Alexandria which took place on 21 March, 1801 in Alexandria, Egypt near the ruins of Nicopolis. Fought between the British and French forces.
