nice muted finish and agree with Foxtail, nice blending on the larger panels. agreeing with lovely John that it was not Dipped. Not following GW nazi painting solutions (with bogus 'texture' etc) is half the battle. really nice highlighting also. Only reason I'm not scoring higher is when comparing it to John (as a 10) HIS INSPIRATION GIVES ALL OF US SOMEWHERE TO ASPIRE TO!

I absolutely prefer this GW style over the style of some bigger named professionals. Easy metal painting is the standard of our hobby. If it wasn't it wouldn't be on thousands of products by GW where it's used to entice buyers to pick up their brushes and try to emulate this. Basically this style is the main choice when trying to get folks to start painting and buy their products.well done. ANY FOOL CAN SEE THIS WAS NOT DIPPED!!! ;) BAM=blood as medium Best Regards

Very nice blend on the larger curved sections of armour and a smooth, subtle colour variation on the fleshy bits. You've kept everything distinct on what is a quite busy miniature and the highlights are subtle and fit well with the theme. The scenic base is very well done and painted to the same high standard as the mini itself. Whatever techniques you've used on this model, you've used them expertly. The singular criticism I'd have, and the only reason I'm not scoring you a 10, is that I think the bronze on the scythe and shoulder pads needs a slightly brighter line highlight.
