Confrontation, Clan of the Drunes: Persecutor

When I saw this mini the first time, I thought he would be an absolute horror to paint. Boy, was I wrong. I did this mini in about 3 hours and they are FUN to paint. I am exceptionally proud of the fur: I highlighted the strands individually up from a black basecoat to Vallejo Game Colour Cobra Leather. I think it looks pretty good and did neither take as long as I feared nor was it hard. I really advise to do this instead of drybrushing. On another note, I may have just found the perfect matt varnish :D This mini is actually varnished in four layers, one coat of brush-on gloss and three coats of Marabu Matt Varnish in a spray can. Personally, I see no gloss at all and even the static grass is still clean.

I admit it! I lied! It was a little more than three hours! It was about 10 minutes more, because he decided to viciously attack me by hurling his head at my foot and I had to do some small touch-up work ;) Thanks , Cash-13 ;)
