Cmon 4 Coolmini Mantis Assassin

The Coolmini Assassin, and what a Miniature. She is so very finely sculpted that I was expecting great difficulty to glue her arms on, however they went on first time. When I had planned out how I wanted to paint her she was going to have her face in shadow. But when I got a closer look through the magnifiers she looked as if she had African Ancestry. Therefore that's how she got painted up. I envisaged her as being from a Desert region hence the light cloth robes. I deliberately didn't put on any fancy freehand as she's an assassin and wants to remain as anonymous as possible and blend into the general crowd.. She's painted in all Vallejo, with a touch of Matte Medium in most of the paints. Comments appreciated as always.

As usual, you did a great job with superb blending. i personally wouldn´t have chosen your palette of colours, but your chosen personal background makes for a coherent story. Not an easy mini to paint, you made her a real looker. Great work! Keep it up and Happy painting!
