Crazy Russians Who Paint Miniatures

First off, I did not paint this. This is a 54mm scale model, painted in Russia, most likely by people who spend their entire lives doing nothing but Russian Icongraphy. The level of detail is just astounding. Pay particular attention to the castle and horses painted on the horse's blanket. Other shots can be seen here: http://secure44.cedant.com/michtoy/MTSCnewSite/figures_kits_folder/AmberMiniatures/amber_march_2002/amber_xi-17_2.html

I split my vote on this one...8 for the one that counts and 7 here... 7.5 from me ... I have to say that this looks pretty great at first but on closer inspection and after reading that it's 54mm I'm not very impressed. Countless posters on this site can outdo this work many times over (and in a smaller scale!!!).

How this can be anything but a ten is beyond me. Phenomenal. A Faberge miniature.
