try my wu-tang style . . . (Oko)

This is the 2nd Hasslefree figure I've painted, and I must say 'way to go!' to Mr. White! Both Oko and Tanshiro are smooth, full of wonderful surfaces to play with, and (my biggest compliment) have great posing and proportions (aside from a slight largeness in the hands I think. ;>). I wanted to give this one some extra charchater so I made the mighty wudan-style sword for her in the tradition of Kusanagi-no-tsuguri. She was one of my entries in the ChickChallengeV, but didn't make it against the many awesome entries in the Alternative Genre. Even so, I'm really happy with the way she came out, and I had a great time working with the purples. A little gregarious for a ninja perhaps, but whatever. ;) Comments always appreciated.

8.5 ...I like the subdued tones of the colors here. I agree that the metals look a little rough, But I think that is a problem that metallic metals have at times. The base is nice and simple and adds to the dynamic feel of this mini. Keep up the good work.

V. Nice! Colour and fabric v. good. Not so sure about the metal on the sword, tho. 'Looks a bit granular. GD standard 7; pro-painter 9; average 8.
