Stone Spike (Chainmail)
This is one of the figures from the now defunct Chainmail line from Wizards of the Coast. I was originally going to do a quick grey drybrush paintjob but I instead used it as layering practice. Each plate has about 5-9 shades of grey on it. It was actually a lot of fun to paint this model; the most fun that I've had painting in a long time.... You can see a small amount of green on the "front" of the figure; that's from a little bit of lightsourcing due to a glowing green eye. This was painted in September, 2005.
