Underdark Half-Fiend Ogre
I was given the opportunity to paint the trophies for the D&D Miniatures Sealed Championship going on at Gen Con So Cal 2005. This is one of the 3rd/4th place models. This is pretty much the same sculpture with a better paintjob than what you'd get from the prepainted line. The only change is the base. The figure was removed from the base, where the flexible plastic was reinforced with a thin sheet of plastic card. The slate parts are resin casts of the slate chips made from two different types of sculpty; I wrote an article here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/article/aid/367 All four trophies were painted in October, 2005. I'm quite honored to have been given the opportunity. This is also my 99th submission to CMoN.
