The ancient brooding evil in Mirkwood - home to the Necromancer This model was built as the feature terrain in a fan-based supplement titled The Age of the King for the LOTR SBG. It took several months to build (I scrapped two earlier versions) and is entirely scratchbuilt out of balsa wood and plaster. The design is based on architecture of Mordor seen in the LOTR movies and is supposed to have a slight 'Easterling' feel to it.
