Legion Miniatures: Princeps
The second figure from Legion Miniatures - a new line of 54mm metal historical miniatures featuring the Republican and Imperial Roman legions. The Principes formed the second line of battle. They were the experienced soldiers, meant to counter attack if the Hastati failed in their initial assault. Our Princeps stands at the ready and leans on his oval scutum. Belted at his side is the gladius and in his hand is a throwing spear. Comments welcomed!
