Empire jade wizard

This is an old plastic wizard from Games-workshop. From the times that there were special figure (or two) for each order of magic. This one is jade wizard form the order of nature. Now there are only three kinds of empire wizards and the jade one is not amongs them. And instead of taking wizard of lore of heaven and just paint him green, I decided for this vintage model. Although the level of detail of this miniature is limited when compared to the new metal wizards, I think it still looks good. And first of all, it is real jade wizard with sickle and adorned with leafs and coil of life. This is the first character I painted. I will be glad for any of your comments. Thank you.

Wow, you've done a great job on this guy. I've painted the hobbit and the khemri priest from the same set as this guy, so I know first hand the sculpting quality.

For some reason Im really taken by this miniature, yes its an older one,, yes the detail in the new mini's is 100% more grand but there is something to say for the mini's of a simpler time. You don't see these older mini's nearly enough anymore and thats a shame cause Im sure they hold a special place for most mini painters/builders alike. Great Work,,Great Mini, A Strong 8 From Me! Keep up the grea work! and please post more of these older mini's if you have them.
