Dark Age Forsaken Contradiction Mini Diorama w/OSL

This is a further play around with the OSL effect. I've always loved this sculpt and had an idea in mind when I first saw it and finally got a chance to bring this idea to mind. I picture him upset burning the book he loves but that has been made contraband (think equilibrium) The Fire was scratch built and was to be the overpowering light source as if the scene is set at night time. I also added to his sadness by adding a clear resin tear to his cheek that picks up the brightest speck of light as it falls down his cheek. hope you like it I had a lot of fun doing it. all comments appreciated. The OSL is pretty good...but the fire...yea it needs work. Hop over to Lazlo's site at http://hot-lead.org for the best tutorials on fire

I agree with wren, the lighting is verry neatly done (somethin I dont control yet) though the fire doesn't look like fire, more like a creepy plant or something that seemingly emits the light
