Gargantuan Blue Dragon

Here's another dragon. The majority of the figure was done with airbrushing. The base was made of sculpy and broken with a pliers. This was given as the first place prize trophy for the Limited Championship D&D Miniatures tournament held at D&D Experience in Feb 2007. This figure was finished in January, 2007.

On the original model the lead front foot is off the base. I did remove the other toes and curl some of them to grip the base so he is clinging to it.

It's a very cool model. Looks like drybrushing is an appropriate technique here. One problem I have is that he's not standing fully on the base. That front foot looks like it was supposed to be resting on something, no?
