Limited Edition Mounted Chaos Sorceror
I was trolling Ebay 1 day and came across this model ..Up until that point I had only seen it in the Hordes of Chaos Book and just thought it was a kick ass conversion.. Lo and Behold it was made but never released and as Far as I'm aware given to northern European staff??? Anyway to be honest not the best sculpt I have ever worked on very very flat... Decided to try a few things I have never really done before.. Firstly every colour on the model features Purple Read about this on Jakob Nielsens site ..(helps to create a mood) if you haven't already visit that site he is the master. Also gave a directional highlight which I've never tried on black and let me say not easy but I was happy with the result... Freehand on thetentacles and robe helped take away the flatness and heavy mud weathering helped to make the whole thing a litle more interesting to look at. hope you like it any comments / suggestions welcome
