Empire ogre 4
Some heavy support for my Empire army. He seems to be the forefather of current leadbelchers. :-) These ogres are pretty old models, but I like them very much. I choose them for several reasons: 1) Each of them is very original and got more character that current ogres can only dream of. 2) With their slashed clothes they fit the Empire army better then any other ogres. 3) There is some specific thing when painting old and rare models. You have almost no competition! Becouse nobody paints them any more and even the promotional paint of their manufacturer was made maybe twenty years ago, when the painting standards were much lower then nowaday. That means that even if these ogres may not be painted perfectly, they are still one of the best paints of these miniatures on the whole world! :-) „While in neighbouring Bretonnia ogres are constantly disturbed and bothered with futile attacks of all that spotty adolescent would be knights trying to earn their spurs by killing a monster, the progressive Empire has better use for brutal strenght and ferocity of ogres – use it against its enemies. Empire generals are clever and pragmatic men and often let the ogres join their armies and earn some honour and respect (and gold) while fighting for the rightful people of Empire.“
