16th Century Landsknecht Captain

This is the first of a number of landsknechts I'm sculpting as commission for a new line of miniatures. Scale is 28mm. The era is roughly 1520. This miniature represents a captain (hauptmann), typically commanding a company-sized "fähnlein" in a landsknecht regiment. He's armed with a halberd and a "katzbalger" short sword. It was important for the captains to wear good and functional armour as they would often be challenged to a duel by their counter-part in the enemy ranks. I used green stuff and brown stuff for this sculpt.
