warrior priest in winter detail

This is my Iron painter mini off of his dispay base.. I did several little bits of conversions here and there with this guy to add a little more life to the sculpt....experimented with the metals and flesh on this one...heavy multiple glazes of flat colour on the metallics to give a sort of patina to it and the flesh was glazed and rehighlighted with several different purples and reds to pick out different details..really enjoyed doing this guy they're great models to play with....

Nice little conversion, I actually like it more than the oriinal, although the trophy head isn't really my cup of tea. Only bit that looks like it needed a little bit more attention is he hand on the horn, it needs something tho better distinguish where the hand ends and the horn begins. Nice base too, and the work on the armour and flesh tones paid off. Good job, 8.5 from me.
