90mm English Knight - Sir Walter Manney

This is a beautiful sculpt, but a crap cast and a bugger to paint (soft metal that is VERY heavy, so long painting sessions are a little tiring). Painted as English (well Flemish) knight 'sir Walter Manney' who was Edward III's Admiral at the the Battle of Sluys (1340) at the very beginning of the 100 years war. I am pleased with the face and the yellow, my bug-bear colour. A model from Italian manufacturers 'Soldiers'. If I get a model in this scale again, I'm going resin!

Love it! Wonderful face. There's such a "gritty" atmosphere to this, awesome work.
