Grimgor Ironhide

This Black Orc Warboss is included in my army and as such is on a standard gaming base and is painted in a relatively subdued manner, thematically similar to the rest of my Black Orcs.

actually I just made that up ... ;-) ... what really happened was that the knight died of severe chest wounds and got the profoundly cyanosed look before dying from hypoxia, not blood-loss. Grimgor took the head of a knight champion as a trophy well after the knight had died, he is not just showing the head because he just killed the champion (as in the scenario proposed in my previous post). If the knight was alive and "well" just prior to decapitation, I agree, the look would be more pale and bloodless, but the blue, cyanosed look was deliberate ... I have seen many Grimgor mini's with fresh heads - I wanted something different.

agreed - the head is not "fresh" ... but neither is it more than a few minutes old - yes, Grimgor removed this knight's head with an axe blow, but Grmogor first disabled the knight causing the knight to fall to the ground - then with his foot on the knight's chest, Griimgor took the knight's helm raising the knight's head off the ground choking the knight with the strap that holds on the helm. The blue congested look is the pre-mortem choke effect. ;-)

Looks like he's been carrying that head around a little too long. Unless he was fighting an undead army that head looks a little too blue. Everything else looks good.
