River Troll 4 of 6

This is the first of a second set of three River Trolls. This figure has been deliberately given a non-standard color palette, inspired by the humble Red Oranda Gold fish. I have also had a minor play with NMM on the troll's weapon. This mini has been scanned at 600 dpi, composited, resized to 600 pixels wide and jpg compressed to 40%. I welcome any comments on technique, color choices and impressions on final product.

I am definately stealing your color scheme! I would, however, like to see more definative lining (especially between the scales and skin on the back). Have you considered using a brown/black ink wash? Also, the mouth area (teeth in particular) needs another smooth coat of whitish. PAT

I emjoy this "nonstandard" scheme - who says all trolls need to be blue or green? He looks somewhat more "demonic" or "devilish" that way... I'd rather use him as a Chaos Troll now.
