I like the gold on the sword handle. Its how metallics should be done and shows metallics can easily rival NMM and SENMM (imo). I think I would liked to have seen all the red area's done in purple instead (I think purple would go much more nicely with the gold) but that's just personal taste. I think the back of the shield could have less metallics and a more wood / woodgrain effect maybe. I don't think the sword blade was done as well as the superb effect on the gold sword handle, although I'm not 100% sure what I'd like to see with it (more / different shading?). Anyway awesome effect with the gold, and an excellent model I think only let down a bit by the points mentioned above.
