WotC Gnoll

This is the Gnoll miniature put out before Chainmail in WotC's first miniature push. Painted in Jan/Feb 2002. I tried an experiment with the metal in that the iron is a mix of metalic silver and non-metalic black/gray/white, and the bronze is a mix of metalic bronze and black/brown/flesh colors. (New picture)

Oh, this is an oldy but goody! You did a great job highlighting the black face. And I think your silvery metal looks good. But, I've really looked at the photo, and I think you've painted the buckles and rivets bronze, but I REALLY had to look to tell. They sorta look the same color as the leather armor. It probably shines more in real life. :) Oh, and thanks for the comment on my Umber Hulk!
