Hi, thanks for your comments! The skin is a basecoat of catachan green, washed with a couple of thin washes of dark flesh. This was then built back up with catachan green, then gretchin green and finally highlighted with rotting flesh and skull white, but very sparingly. A few very thin washes of baal red and possibly gryphonne sepia were then added, I'm not totally sure! I porbably then sharpened up the rotting flesh and skull white a bit more. This mini was basically an excersize for me in doing things once and not fussing for hours uneccesarily tweaking things - something I do all too often. it's surprising how sometimes it's better just to leave things alone! I may post some lifesize shots later as these are rediculously close up.
Thanks, James
The low rating is rediculous, this is an awesome job - the face is fantastic! The clothes and rusty tool look great as well. I partikularly like the rich choice of browns - very orc-like. Could you tell me the skin recipy you used? I´ve got some greenskins in my gallery as well, you could have a look an tell me what you think.
