The tassle was meant to be from a fallen enemy, maybe off an empire knights helmet.
However, if painted brown it could easily be a scalp :)
Never tried NMM, didn't even know about it until i found this site a few weeks ago.
I am going to repost this with a better piccy and some additional work on it.

As a table piece he's perfect - well almost. The yellow/orange tassle isnt quite congruent with the rest of the mini.
If you want to score 8+ - forget orcs, no one seems to score them particularly well unless you do pure NMM and cartoon style skin blending or patterned coloring on surfaces.
