Wraithlord

I recently added a Wraitlord to my Eldar army as close support for by Howling Banshee squad which gets overwhelmed by Marines if they try and tackle them without some back up. The colour scheme mimicks the Banshee squad and ties the unit together as a whole. I rather like the idea of a fallen Banshee being given the chance to live on in a Wraitlord and their devotion to their aspect slowly altering their apearance to how they were in life. The pose is set to mirror the Farseer hinting at the psychic link between them.

Thanks for the comments. In brief, the model is primed in GW White spray then recvieves a thin wash of FW Inks Antelope brown. First dry brush is GW Desert Yellow, second GW Komando Khaki, then two more with Khaki / white 2/1 and 1/2 mix and a final white highlight on the raised areas. The larger plates are then smoothed off with a thin wash of the 2/1 Khaki / White mix. Detail is then picked out with by black lining. Finally a coat of Humbrol Satin varnish is added to give a really silky smooth finish. This varnish coat is critical to a smooth finish.

Very nice, I like the way the pose matches your Farseer that'll look great on the tabletop. How do you paint your white sections? Undercoat and then shade? Trying to do a Biel-tann force and not getting very far lol. p.s Your probably aware of this, but he's missing the vane at the back of his head
