Just one of a couple of models I did to update my Lizardmen army. When the last army book came out I had the option to mount a Skink Chief on a Terradon and visualised thsi as the model I wanted to create. It's a combination of the Tiktak'To model, the Skink on foot with shield and a spare Wood Elf bow. Unfortunately I spent so long getting around to finishing it Avatar came out and all I hear now is 'ooh nice, just like Avatar'. Nevermind.

Lighting is an issue when photographing taller / larger models. I used 2 100w daylight bulbs to illuminate the background and 1 Canon 580Ex2 flash with a dome diffuser (off camera) as fill in flash on the model. Exposure was set manually then lifted by 0.3 stops in PS. I may try a re-shoot a later if more people think the image is flat. The again, it could just as likely be a difference in monitor calibration.

Totally not like "Avatar". Bollocks! Looks like a pretty good conversion and paint job, but the photo is a bit washed out...
